Little League Safety Officer

The safety officer coordinates all safety activities including supervision of ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program), ensures safety in player training, ensures safe playing conditions, coordinates reporting and prevention of injuries, solicits suggestions for making conditions safer, and reports suggestions to Little League International through the ASAP system.

ABUSE AWARENESS TRAINING
This training is now required by all Little League Volunteers and local leagues will be responsible for tracking all volunteers to ensure that this course is completed prior to allowing them to act in any roles that have the potential to interact with children. This is not only for coaches and officials, all levels of volunteers need to complete this course.
